The initial opportunity to purchase tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 will occur later today, with coach packages becoming available for sale at 18:00 GMT. The festival is scheduled to take place from 25 to 29 June 2025 at Worthy Farm, Somerset, prior to a planned fallow year in 2026. Coach tickets will be available for purchase at 18:00 GMT on Thursday, preceding the general admission ticket sales which commence on Sunday, 17 November, at 09:00 GMT. Coaches will depart from 28 locations across the country, including major cities such as London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Cardiff. Customers acquiring coach fares will be responsible for a festival ticket priced at £373.50 and a £5 booking fee, in addition to the cost of a return or single coach fare, which ranges from £47 to £160 depending on the departure location. The deposit, which is the sum customers pay to secure their ticket, is £75. “You may book up to 6 coach tickets per transaction,” states the festival website. It further clarifies, “When booking a ticket + coach travel option you will need to pay the deposit plus full coach fare, with the Festival ticket balance due in the first week of April 2025.” This announcement follows a disclosure last week by festival organisers regarding a significant modification to its ticket booking process, involving the introduction of an automatic queue system. The alteration means that fans will need to be online before ticket sales commence on 14 and 17 November. Rather than refreshing a holding page, they will be “randomly assigned a place in the queue” once tickets become available. The headliners for next year’s festival have not yet been confirmed. Headliners for the 2024 festival included Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Sza, with other notable performances featuring Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne. All customers intending to secure a ticket for next year’s festival must have already completed registration. Organisers have indicated that customers who are unsuccessful in securing a ticket in November will have an additional opportunity to purchase one during the spring resale.
