The indie rock group Doves has announced that lead singer Jimi Goodwin will not participate in their upcoming 2025 tour, which marks their first comprehensive tour in 15 years. The band, which had previously disclosed three performances without Goodwin, stated that twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams would now handle all vocal responsibilities for their entire 2025 schedule. They explained that Goodwin is “stepping back from live to focus on his wellbeing” and further commented: “Mental health has always been central to Doves and we fully support him in his decision.” Scheduled for February and March, the tour will encompass 15 venues throughout the UK, featuring a homecoming concert at Manchester’s Aviva Studios. Earlier in the current month, the band appealed to fans for their understanding, with guitarist and vocalist Jez Williams stating that although Goodwin was “doing great,” he was “still not out of the woods.” Additionally, Doves has revealed plans to launch their comeback album, *Constellations For The Lonely*, next year. A significant portion of the album was recorded remotely, a method Goodwin characterized as a “godsend” when discussing his personal recovery process and the creation of new music. In 2021, Doves previously canceled a segment of their last live tour, citing Goodwin’s mental health challenges. The band commented at that time that they “had to take each other’s welfare as seriously as the music.” Post navigation Tulisa Contostavlos Reveals Demisexuality on ‘I’m A Celeb’, Explaining Its Meaning Worcestershire Teenager Cast in New Wicked Film Adaptation
