Following a significant fire that caused extensive damage to a barn in a Warwickshire village, human remains have been located. Emergency services responded to calls regarding the blaze in Wood End, Atherstone, around 20:00 GMT on Tuesday. Warwickshire Police confirmed the discovery of human remains within the barn after firefighters brought the fire under control. The identity of the remains has not yet been established, the police force stated. Investigators indicated that, at this stage, the origin of the fire is not considered suspicious. A spokesperson issued an appeal for public assistance, stating: “If anyone has any information that can help with our investigation, contact us citing incident 316 of 19 November.”
