A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a double-decker bus. Lancashire Police reported that the individual, a man in his 50s, was hit on Deepdale Road in Preston, adjacent to the bus depot, shortly before 18:00 GMT on Tuesday. The force stated that he sustained “very significant injuries”. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses any CCTV, dashcam, or video doorbell footage to contact them.
