A man has sustained “life-changing” injuries after being attacked by a dog in Doncaster. South Yorkshire Police reported that the victim was assaulted by the animal on Saturday in the Cusworth area of the city and subsequently transported to a hospital. The police force has not disclosed any specifics regarding the breed of dog involved. Julien Lever, 29, and Alison Hodkinson, 57, both residents of Wroxham Way in Cusworth, have been charged with owning/controlling a dog dangerously out of control causing injury and possession with intent to supply drugs. The force also stated that Mr. Lever faces an additional charge of assaulting an emergency service worker. Both individuals are scheduled to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 19 December.
