The University of Lincoln is currently hosting a Climate Action Festival. This event, scheduled to conclude on Saturday, “is dedicated to raising climate awareness,” according to the university. The program features various activities, including art exhibitions, guided tree walks, workshops on creating nature-friendly art, and will culminate in a city-wide community litter pick. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about some of the environmental research conducted at the university. Libby John, Professor and Dean of Sustainability at the University of Lincoln, commented on the event, stating: “Our Climate Action Festival has become an autumnal highlight celebrating all things sustainability.“From fashion to science to wildlife to art and craft there is a varied and exciting timetable of events where staff, students and members of our wider community can contribute and feel positive about their sustainability contribution.” Now in its fourth year, the festival is being held at various locations across the city.
