Hull City Council has announced that additional bus services will be incorporated into the timetables for Hull’s Park and Ride scheme in anticipation of the Christmas season. Stagecoach East Midlands and the local authority have confirmed that this updated timetable will be in effect from November 21st until December 22nd. The revised schedule will also include supplementary services on Thursday evenings and Sundays. Patrons can park without charge at Priory Park and will also be eligible for discounted return fares. On Thursdays, the additional buses are scheduled to operate every 20 minutes from 18:00 GMT until 21:00, and on Sundays, they will run from 10:00 until 17:00. The designated pick-up and drop-off points for inbound services will encompass Priory Park, Hessle High Road, Askew Avenue, Boothferry Road, Anlaby Road, and Hull Paragon Interchange. For outbound services, pick-up and drop-off locations will additionally comprise Ferensway, Bond Street, and Carr Lane. Councillor Mark Ieronimo stated: “The council is delighted to bring this popular service back for a second year and provide an alternative and more sustainable transport option in the build-up to Christmas.”
