Law enforcement officials have apprehended an individual subsequent to receiving complaints about a dog’s death in Cornwall. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that their officers were informed a chihuahua had died in Lanner, a locality close to Redruth. The police force further stated that a 65-year-old local resident was taken into custody on November 10. The arrest was made under suspicion of inflicting unnecessary suffering upon a protected animal. Authorities also indicated that the man has since been released on bail as officers proceed with their investigation.
