A man has died subsequent to being rescued from the sea as Storm Bert affected the UK. The 43-year-old individual was extracted from the water near Hove, East Sussex, by emergency services at approximately 07:50 GMT on 25 November. He was transported to a hospital, but Sussex Police later confirmed the man’s death. His next of kin have been notified.
