Zendaya describes collaboration with Tom Holland as “second nature”

Zendaya characterized her professional collaboration with her partner, Tom Holland, as “strangely comfortable.” The prominent couple first encountered each other during the production of the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming and are now rumored to be co-starring in director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie. While they typically refrain from publicly discussing their relationship, Zendaya addressed a query from Vanity Fair regarding the experience of acting opposite one another. She responded, “Not really,” adding, “It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything.” She further elaborated, “You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. “I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. “He always gives things 1,000%, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him.” She also stated, “It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.” The 28-year-old Zendaya gained prominence through the Disney Channel and has subsequently appeared in films such as Dune, Challengers, Malcolm & Marie, as well as the television series Euphoria. Holland, also aged 28, performed the principal part in Billy Elliot the Musical in the West End during his childhood, and has since featured in productions including Uncharted, Cherry, and The Devil All The Time. His portrayal of Spider-Man led him to co-star with Zendaya in three of the superhero movies, in addition to other roles within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
