The London Card Show, an event dedicated to collectible cards, is scheduled to return to Surrey, with organizers anticipating an attendance exceeding 6,000 individuals from various global locations. This gathering will occur on November 2-3 at Sandown Park Racecourse. During a previous show held in August, an attendee acquired a pack for £27 and discovered a rare football card within it, which subsequently fetched £67,000 at auction. At the forthcoming event, singer-songwriter Chelcee Grimes plans to have a rare Pokémon card from her collection professionally graded. This particular item, a 1999 Charizard, is estimated to have a value reaching up to £200,000. The event is slated to showcase more than 770 tables laden with trading cards and various other collectibles. In addition to popular items such as Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, attendees will also find sporting memorabilia available. For updates, follow BBC Surrey on Facebook and X.
