A man and a woman have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a man at a hotel in Blackpool. Lancashire Police reported that the body of Kevin Price, aged 59, was discovered on Sunday at the Garfield Hotel, located on Springfield Road in the resort. Mr. Price, who resided at the hotel, had sustained multiple stab wounds. A 50-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both from Blackpool, are currently undergoing questioning in police custody. The force indicated that officers found Mr. Price’s body while responding to a call regarding a concern for welfare. Detective Chief Inspector Simon Pritchard confirmed that Mr. Price’s family has been informed, stating that inquiries are “very much ongoing”. He issued an appeal for anyone who might have witnessed “any suspicious activity” around the hotel between Thursday, November 7, and Sunday, November 10, to come forward. “Please come and speak to us if you have any information at all as what you know could help us piece together the events that led to Kevin’s tragic death,” he added.
