Torquay United has secured an extension for the loan of Plymouth Argyle midfielder Will Jenkins Davies, which will now last until the conclusion of the current season. This season, Jenkins Davies has contributed significantly to Torquay, registering four goals and four assists across 19 appearances. The 20-year-old player commenced his second tenure with the National League South club in September, following an earlier period last season that was cut short due to an injury. His performance for the Gulls, currently leading their division, has been notable. He has particularly demonstrated his scoring ability by netting four goals in his most recent three league matches for Paul Wotton’s team. Earlier in the current month, Torquay manager Paul Wotton expressed his satisfaction with the Argyle academy graduate and indicated his desire to retain him at Plainmoor beyond the current year, into 2025.
