A boy has appeared before Hull Crown Court, facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a blade, following the discovery of a 13-year-old girl who had been stabbed. The girl was found with serious injuries to her neck, abdomen, chest, and back near the A63 in Hessle, East Yorkshire, at approximately 06:50 GMT on 1 November. The 14-year-old boy, whose identity cannot be disclosed due to his age, appeared before a judge on Wednesday. He did not enter any pleas. His next appearance at the same court is scheduled for 16 December for a mention hearing. Prosecutors had previously alleged that the boy was in possession of a samurai sword. Five other teenagers were also arrested in connection with the incident. Three boys, aged 15, 16, and 17, and two girls, aged 14 and 15, have since been released on police bail.
