King Charles has conveyed his appreciation to children in Jersey for the artwork and messages they sent following his recent visit to the island. According to a letter issued by Buckingham Palace, King Charles was “touched” by the receipt of supportive letters and drawings. This acknowledgment follows an initiative by Jersey Post, which encouraged children to submit their recollections of the July visit to the King, either through illustrations or written accounts. Subsequently, these letters were gathered and forwarded to Buckingham Palace, with Jersey Post facilitating the delivery at no cost to the residents. Buckingham Palace further stated: “It was so kind of you to take the trouble to write as you did. “The King was touched to see your thoughtful letters of support following Their Majesties recent visit to Jersey, and greatly appreciated the care with which you created your artwork.”
