The parish church of a town is preparing to hold its third yearly Christmas tree festival. All Saints’ Church, located in Leamington Spa, is scheduled to feature an exhibition of 60 adorned trees from December 7 to December 15. Organisers report that the festival draws over 3,000 attendees, who are “keen to experience some Christmas joy”. Smith’s Garden Centre in Baginton provides the 5ft (1.5m) tall trees, each of which receives sponsorship from local businesses and not-for-profit community organisations. According to organisers, admission to this year’s event will cost £2, while individuals under 18 years of age will be granted free entry. The festival will commence with a complimentary Christmas workshop, offering participants the chance to craft diverse festive decorations for display on two substantial community trees. Funds will be collected for Molly Ollys, a Warwick-based charity dedicated to supporting children with life-limiting illnesses, through a raffle conducted during the entire festival. Rachel Ollenshaw, representing the charity, stated: “Molly Ollys are delighted to be the festival charity as it gives us an opportunity to tell people about the vital work we do. “Come and visit our stall and sparkling tree and take part in our special raffle which is raising funds for our charity.” Post navigation Historic Formation of Girls’ Choir at St Peter’s Cathedral Baby Elizabeth Donald Completes Five-Generation Family Line
