Employee dies following industrial accident at Cookstown factory

An individual has died following an occupational accident in Cookstown, County Tyrone. The incident took place at the Trade Mouldings factory, located on Sandholes Road, on Wednesday morning. In a released statement, the company confirmed that the deceased was one of its employees. The statement added, “Our condolences are with his immediate family at this time.” The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) reported attending the scene of a sudden death at the premises. The Health and Safety Executive, the body responsible for investigating workplace incidents, has been notified.
