A local authority in Cornwall has installed five “happy to chat” benches within the town. These benches, located in Saltash, are designated for individuals who wish to engage in conversation. The council hopes this initiative will contribute to alleviating loneliness and improving mood. Each of the five benches is equipped with a plaque featuring a QR code. This code directs people to a website that provides information on additional support services for all age groups. The council commented: “Chatting to someone can be a simple act of kindness that can support people in a positive way and bring our community together.” Post navigation Cancer Survivor Advocates for Diagnostic Lollipop Research Third Bluetongue Case Confirmed in Hertfordshire
