An upcoming east Belfast derby, featuring Championship team H&W Welders and Glentoran in the Irish Cup fifth round, is scheduled for live streaming on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport NI website. H&W Welders will host their local rivals at the Blanchflower Stadium on Friday, 3 January, with the kick-off set for 19:45 GMT. Glentoran, a club with 23 Irish Cup victories, advanced to last year’s semi-finals before their elimination by Linfield. H&W Welders aim to advance further in the competition this season, having been eliminated at the identical stage last season by Larne. The two sides previously encountered each other in September, when Glentoran secured a victory over the Welders in a penalty shootout during the Co Antrim Shield.
