A care facility in Chichester will open its doors on Christmas Day, extending an invitation to older members of the community to partake in its holiday celebrations. The staff and residents of Augusta Court have orchestrated a day of festive cheer for individuals from the town who might otherwise spend the holiday in solitude. Manager Magda Zajac stated, “We are delighted here at Augusta Court that we can give something back to our local community.” Guests will be able to enjoy Christmas lunch, participate in seasonal activities including games and sing-alongs, and receive transportation home when they are prepared, all without charge. The establishment is urging local residents who wish to join to make contact. To stay updated, follow BBC Sussex on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
