Police personnel responded to notifications of an incident involving a car and a mobility scooter on Wednesday, approximately at 11:55 GMT, which occurred on Exeter Road in Dawlish. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that the woman was transported to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after the accident. Authorities stated that the vehicle’s driver was unharmed. Police announced: “The road has been closed in both directions. It is expected to be reopened this evening.” The Roads Policing Team extended their appreciation to the public for their patience during the road closure.
