Law enforcement authorities are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash in Derbyshire. Officers were dispatched to Wirksworth Road, near the junction with Calladine Lane, Shottle, close to Belper, at 09:37 GMT on Thursday. The police force confirmed that the motorcycle rider, a man in his twenties, was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his family has been notified. Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who was driving on Wirksworth Road and observed a green Kawasaki motorcycle traveling from Wirksworth towards Duffield, approximately between 09:20 and 09:35.
