Castleford Tigers have secured Papua New Guinea international hooker Judah Rimbu on a two-year contract. Rimbu previously played for the Papua New Guinea Hunters in his home country. The 23-year-old arrives at the club from the Papua New Guinea Hunters, where he recorded 23 appearances in this year’s Queensland Cup. During his time there, he scored 16 tries and was recognized with the competition’s player of the year award. Rimbu, who served as captain for his country during the recent Rugby League Pacific Championships, possesses the versatility to also play as a half-back. He will join fellow Papua New Guinea internationals Liam Horne and Sylvester Namo at Cas. Danny Wilson, the club’s director of rugby, commented: “Judah has had an exceptional year and has generated a lot of interest in his services, so to win the race for his signature is very pleasing. He is an exciting player and will bring a lot of spark to the team.” Post navigation Ospreys Confident in St Helen’s Redevelopment Schedule Troy Deeney’s Premier League Team of the Week Selections
