A 30-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision on the M25. Essex Police were summoned on Wednesday at approximately 13:35 GMT to the clockwise carriageway, situated near junction 26 for Waltham Abbey. Emergency medical teams were also dispatched, but the man operating the motorcycle passed away at the scene. The thoroughfare remained closed for several hours while emergency services carried out their duties and an inquiry commenced. Officers are requesting any information and dashcam footage from the public. The police force did not specify how many vehicles it believed were involved in the incident.
