Authorities have apprehended two individuals in connection with an alleged investment fraud tied to a Nottinghamshire company that recently ceased operations. Law enforcement officials indicated that numerous investors reported being victims of fraud, losing substantial funds after Mansfield-based Gallant Building Services Ltd went into administration earlier this year. This led to the initiation of an investigation, during which officers conducted searches at properties in Mansfield and the Bassetlaw area on Monday. A fourth search warrant was also executed in Sussex that same morning. According to the police force, two men, aged 41 and 55, were taken into custody during the operations in Nottinghamshire. They face suspicion of fraud by false representation and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property. Det Sgt Thomas Rawlings, representing Nottinghamshire Police’s fraud unit, stated: “Whilst we have made two arrests, we remain in the early stages of our investigation. “Today’s action shows how seriously we take suspected fraud and our investigation into this matter will now continue.” Post navigation Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Woman Stabbed Repeatedly Man in court following fatal car crash involving toddler
