An individual has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Coventry. Law enforcement officers responded to a residence on Burnaby Road at approximately 13:00 GMT on Tuesday, after receiving reports expressing apprehension for the woman’s well-being. The woman was declared deceased at the location. Subsequently, a man, identified as being in his 30s, was apprehended at a nearby property shortly after 13:30 GMT. West Midlands Police stated that the suspect, who is thought to have had a prior acquaintance with the woman, was being held for interrogation. A spokesperson for the police force confirmed that investigators are not seeking any other individuals in relation to her death.
