The man who lost his life in a Port Glasgow vehicle collision has been identified as Scott McFadden. Mr. McFadden, 38, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf that collided with a parked, unoccupied Peugeot on Clune Brae. Police confirmed he died at the scene of the incident, which took place approximately at 21:55 on Monday. A 50-year-old woman was transported to a hospital for medical attention. She was arrested and later released, pending further investigations. Sgt Robert Mackie stated: “Our thoughts are with Scott McFadden’s family and friends at this difficult time.” He further added, “Our inquiries into the full circumstances of this collision are ongoing.” Sgt Mackie appealed for anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
