Law enforcement officials have requested residents of the village to inspect their refuse bins for potential evidence, subsequent to the death of a 19-year-old male who succumbed to injuries from a stabbing. According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Police, the individual, discovered wounded on Station Road in Netley just prior to 18:30 GMT on Wednesday, passed away at the location. Three males, aged 18, originating from the Southampton vicinity, have been apprehended on suspicion of murder. Additionally, one of these teenagers is being detained on suspicion of acquiring, using, or possessing stolen property. Authorities indicated their strong interest in finding a mobile phone that might have been discarded in the vicinity. The police force stated that a 36-year-old woman from Southampton had been taken into custody on suspicion of assisting an offender, but no subsequent proceedings were initiated regarding that particular charge. This woman was also apprehended for the offenses of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of an imitation firearm with the intent to induce fear of violence. She has since been granted bail. Following the discovery of the man, a police cordon was established on Station Road, adjacent to the entrance of the recreational ground.
