A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the stabbing of two individuals aboard a bus in Birmingham. West Midlands Police indicated that the teenager faces accusations of attempted murder, wounding, and possession of an offensive weapon. A 32-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were transported to hospital following the incident on Colebrook Road, Sparkhill, on Wednesday afternoon. The boy appeared before Birmingham magistrate’s court on Friday and was remanded into youth custody, with a subsequent appearance scheduled at the city’s crown court on 3 January. Police stated that the two people injured in the assault sustained wounds which “are thankfully not life-threatening”.
