A man was transported to a hospital in Nottingham after sustaining “very nasty injuries” during a street fight. Police reported being summoned to St Ann’s Way in St Ann’s at approximately 23:00 GMT on Sunday, responding to calls about a confrontation between two men. An individual in his 30s was admitted to the hospital with “slash wounds,” which officers indicated were not believed to be life-threatening. The injured man had arrived at Mechanics House, a nearby homeless center operated by Framework Housing Association, which confirmed its assistance with police inquiries “as much as it can.” The charity clarified that none of the residents of Mechanics House were involved in the incident, and the injured man was “not known to staff.” Claire McGonigle, Framework’s deputy chief executive, stated: “Staff acted quickly and professionally to get the victim medical support as soon as he appeared in reception.” She further added: “As this is an active police investigation we will let the police release any relevant details and we are helping them with their enquiries as much as we can.” Detective Inspector Lisa Jones, from Nottinghamshire Police, commented: “The victim has been left with some very nasty injuries and officers are working hard on the investigation.” Post navigation Suspected Drug Driver Arrested After 10-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Bradford Collision Family of 18-year-old killed in crash states he ‘died doing what he loved’
