Dario Vidosic, the manager of Brighton, has been presented with the Women’s Super League (WSL) manager of the month award for October. After five games, Vidosic has led Brighton to the fourth position in the WSL table, placing them only three points adrift of the league leaders, Manchester City. During October, the Australian manager secured victories against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. His team also mounted a comeback to achieve a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Vidosic, who was chosen for the award over Chelsea’s Sonia Bompastor and Manchester City’s Gareth Taylor, expressed that he has felt “so welcome” since his arrival at the Seagulls from Melbourne City Women in July. “It’s a family club which makes it really easy to settle in very, very quickly,” he stated on Thursday. He added: “From the club in general, everyone’s asking how are you, even just as simple as that – just to make a minute to talk and to see how’s things. “This is more an award for everyone else than me.” Post navigation Supporters Reflect on Rangers’ Narrow Win: Calls for More Clinical Finishing Lopetegui Pledges to Reverse West Ham’s Fortunes Amid Mounting Pressure
