A West Yorkshire Police constable is scheduled to stand trial next year, having pleaded not guilty to an accusation of assaulting a member of the public during his duties. PC Denis Kadric, whose address is Wolley Avenue in New Farnley, Leeds, faces a charge of inflicting actual bodily harm in connection with an event that occurred on Heidelberg Road, Bradford, on 26 January. A trial date of 24 November 2025 was established at York Crown Court on Friday. During the proceedings, it was indicated that the trial is anticipated to span five days, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for 10 October. Mr Kadric, who served as a response officer in Bradford for six years, confirmed his identity during the court session and received unconditional bail. He was currently suspended from his duties by West Yorkshire Police.
