A high school situated in Staffordshire temporarily closed its doors on Monday following the recent passing of a teacher. In an official statement, Simon Maxfield, the headteacher of Codsall Community High School, disclosed that staff members were informed on Saturday morning that a colleague had been unexpectedly found deceased. He conveyed, “As would be expected, our community is coming to terms with deep feelings of grief, and we are working to ensure appropriate support is in place for all that need it,”. An update posted on Facebook announced that the school would remain shut to pupils for the day on Monday. Mr. Maxfield further stated, “As we begin to make sense of this, we would ask that the privacy of the family, staff and students is respected.” The educational institution reopened for operations on Tuesday.
