The first of a town’s scheduled Christmas markets has been called off because of an issued weather warning. Meteorological predictions anticipate strong winds and heavy rain across Northamptonshire from Friday to Sunday, as Storm Darragh moves through the area. Kettering’s Christmas market, initially planned for December 7, represents the third festive gathering in the county to be canceled, following similar decisions in Oundle and Beckets Park. Two additional markets are still slated to take place in Kettering on December 14 and December 21. For Northamptonshire news updates, follow BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
