Residents have been directed to leave their properties after an “unexploded device” was discovered within a garden. Cambridgeshire Police responded to a call on Cherry Road in Wisbech at 09:11 GMT, leading to the evacuation of approximately 20 residences as a safety measure. Law enforcement personnel are maintaining a presence at the site, having established a precautionary cordon, and members of the public have been cautioned to steer clear of the vicinity. A police spokesperson stated: “The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit have been called to assist… thank you to everyone for their patience.”
