Hull City striker Chris Bedia believes the team is ‘close’ to ending their prolonged winless run. His goal against Watford marked the end of an 11-game scoring drought for the striker personally. The team secured a 1-1 draw against Watford in Ruben Selles’ inaugural match as manager, following a sequence of six consecutive losses. Despite earning a point, the result leaves them at the bottom of the Championship standings, extending their winless period to 22 matches. Speaking to BBC Radio Humberside, Bedia stated, “We are very, very close. I see the energy in the dressing room – everyone supports everyone; we’re all together; everyone believes.” He added, “If everyone believes, we will get there.” The 28-year-old on-loan Ivory Coast striker, Bedia, registered his third goal for Hull. However, a late equalizer from Rocco Vata prevented Selles from securing a victory in his first game. Bedia commented on their preparations, saying, “We worked more tactically. The coach knows there are a lot of good, quality players in the team, so we worked more on tactics in the last two days.” Post navigation West Ham Manager Rehanne Skinner Comments on Team Confidence and Brighton’s Recruitment Strategy Bosnich: Amorim Must ‘Instil That Steel’ at Manchester United
