Sandy Armour, editor of the Killie Hippo fanzine, expressed satisfaction with Scotland’s recent two victories against strong opposition. However, prioritizing club football, Armour noted the absence of further international breaks until March. He stated that the season has been characterized by frequent interruptions due to European fixtures, but the club can now concentrate on establishing momentum in the league and re-entering the competition for a top-six position. Armour considered the team’s display against Celtic arguably its strongest of the season, viewing such a defeat as more acceptable than the self-inflicted losses suffered against Ross County and Dundee. The club is scheduled for an away match this Saturday, contingent on weather conditions, facing a St Johnstone side eager to make an impression on their new manager. While Perth has historically not been a favorable venue, Armour emphasized that this is not a time to be concerned about the opposition. He believes that if the team adopts an assertive approach and reproduces the performance seen against Celtic, they will secure three points.
