Wrexham has been drawn to play at home against Swansea City in the semi-finals of the Genero Adran Trophy. In the other semi-final match, The New Saints will host Briton Ferry Llansawel. Both Briton Ferry Llansawel and Wrexham are making their debut at this stage of the competition. Both fixtures are scheduled for Sunday, 12 January. The Red Dragons secured their place in the final four of the tournament for the first time by defeating Barry Town United 3-1 at Jenner Park. Swansea, last season’s beaten finalists, advanced to the semi-finals by achieving a 5-0 victory over second-tier club Cascade. Wrexham and Swansea last met in September at the Stok Racecourse in the Adran Premier. In that game, the visitors won 3-2, with Katie Sharp’s own goal ultimately making the difference, despite a late Wrexham goal from Rosie Hughes.
