Motherwell’s Lennon Miller has created more chances from set-pieces than any other player in the Scottish Premiership this season, totaling 18. Additionally, all four of his assists have originated from dead-ball situations. St Mirren has secured only one victory in their last nine home games against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership (four draws, four losses). This sole win was a 1-0 result in January 2023. Following their 2-1 win in September, Motherwell is aiming to achieve back-to-back Scottish Premiership victories over St Mirren. This would be only the third time they have done so since the Buddies returned to the division in 2018, having previously accomplished this in December 2019 and July 2022. St Mirren has won four of their eight home league games this season (two draws, two losses). This marks an improvement compared to their final 11 such matches of 2023-24, where they recorded three wins, two draws, and six losses. Since a goalless draw with Ross County in their opening match this season, none of Motherwell’s subsequent 13 league games have ended level (six wins, seven losses). They have currently lost their last three matches consecutively, with their last run of four consecutive losses occurring in October 2023.
