West Ham boss Rehanne Skinner addressed the media in advance of Sunday’s Women’s Super League match against Leicester, scheduled for a 15:00 GMT kick-off. During her news conference, Skinner indicated that the injury time defeat by Tottenham “was really tough to take,” and affirmed that “everybody is motivated to go and put that right this weekend.” In her assessment of the team’s overall standing this season, Skinner remarked, “I’m pleased with the progress we have made and the performances we have had but we all know it’s about winning.” She noted that West Ham fans “have gone through a lot of change and inconsistency” but commended them for remaining “solid” and steadfast in their support for the team. Skinner further stated, “The numbers in our fans are getting higher because the club has done a good job at making us more visible.” Considering that West Ham drew twice against Leicester last season, Skinner anticipates another challenging encounter, but asserted, “Every game we feel positive about getting something from it. We just need to get one over the line.” Regarding her expectations for the Leicester game, Skinner added, “We want to be more attack-minded and positive on the ball.” Post navigation Kettering Sports Pitch Secures £1 Million for Revival After Five-Year Closure Tom Cleverley Highlights Marco Silva’s Significant Coaching Influence
