Rangers B team secured the Glasgow Cup at the City Stadium, overcoming their Celtic counterparts 3-2 following a late winning goal from Zak Lovelace. The decisive moment left Celtic’s Francis Turley visibly dejected. The Ibrox squad, which included first-team players Oscar Cortes and Rabbi Matondo, took the lead twice with goals from Paul Nsio and Cole McKinnon. Celtic responded by levelling the score on both occasions through Daniel Cummings and Samuel Isiguzo. However, substitute Lovelace ultimately struck the winning goal in the 87th minute, just as the match appeared headed for penalties.
