An individual has appeared in court following the discovery of a cannabis cultivation operation, estimated to have a street value of £900,000, located on an industrial estate in the Borders. This significant find was uncovered when police officers conducted a search of a premises on Coldingham Road in Eyemouth on Thursday. Adriatik Abazi, 47, of no fixed abode, made a private appearance at Jedburgh Sheriff Court. He faces charges of producing and supplying a controlled drug, as well as a breach of the Electricity Act. Abazi did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.
