Nedum Onuoha stated that he does not believe the current discussions regarding the contracts of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, or Virgil van Dijk will disrupt the team’s pursuit of the title. He noted that while initiating contract negotiations at this stage appears belated given the duration of their previous agreements, all three players convey a sense of ease at the club. Onuoha expressed confidence that the players will have clarity on their future before the conclusion of the season. Furthermore, he suggested that if Liverpool is contending for trophies by the end of the current campaign, the specific outcomes of their contract decisions will hold less significance. He observed that the players remain with the team, seemingly unconcerned about their long-term prospects, and are instead concentrating on the immediate present. These remarks were made by Nedum Onuoha during an interview with Katie Stafford of BBC Sport.
