A collision on Wednesday at approximately 20:40 GMT on the southbound A47, located between Hopton and Gorleston in Norfolk, has resulted in the death of a man in his 30s. The incident involved a blue Vauxhall Astra and a white Range Rover Evoque. Norfolk Police stated that the driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Vauxhall, a man in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drug driving. The fire service and an air ambulance attended the site of the incident. The road was closed overnight and through the morning, eventually reopening at about 13:30. Norfolk Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
