Police have reported that a “precious collection” of model trains, valued at £10,000, was stolen from a house. The theft of the locomotives occurred after 16:00 GMT on Sunday 17 November at a property located in Stockdove Way, Cleveleys. Lancashire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and any CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could aid in recovering the trains. Laura Cruise, a member of the Lancashire Constabulary burglary team, stated: “An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing following this burglary of a precious collection of model trains.” Among the stolen items is a green Flying Scotsman model train. Ms Cruise further urged: “If you can help us in any way, even if you think it might be insignificant, please do not hesitate to get in touch and help us return these items to their owner.”
