The League Two fixture between Newport County and Carlisle United, set to be held at Rodney Parade, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 11, with a kick-off time of 19:45 GMT. This match was originally scheduled for December 7 but was called off due to the impact of Storm Darragh, which resulted in the cancellation of most sporting events that Saturday due to adverse weather conditions. Newport made the decision to postpone the game after consulting with the Met Office, the English Football League (EFL), and the Safety Advisory Group (SAG). At the time, the club issued a statement saying: “The safety of travelling fans, staff, players, and officials is the top priority, and this is considered the best decision given the circumstances.” The club has confirmed that all match tickets purchased for the initial date will remain valid for the rearranged fixture, and season tickets will also be honored.
