Peter Loughran, a former GAA player and member of the Tyrone squad that secured the county’s inaugural All-Ireland football title in 2003, has entered a not guilty plea to multiple drug and criminal property charges. Mr. Loughran, aged 49 and residing on Tamnamore Road in Dungannon, appeared before Londonderry Crown Court on Friday alongside Nolan James Scarlett, 45, of Terrenew Road in Dungannon. The two individuals are collectively facing dozens of charges. Both defendants have denied allegations of conspiring to supply and supplying class A drugs, specifically cocaine, and class B drugs, namely cannabis. Additionally, they each pleaded not guilty to accusations of offering to supply cocaine, as well as converting criminal property and transferring criminal property, identified as cash. The proceedings have been adjourned until December 13. Mr. Scarlett was granted continued bail, while Mr. Loughran was ordered to remain in custody.
