Police are seeking witnesses following an incident in Leicester city centre where a man was robbed and assaulted. The victim reported being approached by a group of up to eight individuals, described as men wearing black clothing and balaclavas, on New Walk just before 8:00 PM GMT on October 31. The man was instructed to surrender his mobile phone. Subsequently, he was kicked in the face and body before managing to flee the scene, leaving his phone behind. He further stated that he witnessed the same group assaulting another individual, punching them in the face and demanding their wallet.
