Police Search for Man After Knife Threat

Devon and Cornwall Police are currently searching for a man who is reported to have threatened a member of the public with a knife. The incident took place on Curledge Street in Paignton at approximately 08:40 GMT, according to the police. Law enforcement officials stated that they received information indicating a man was seen holding what was believed to be a knife before he subsequently left the vicinity in a vehicle. Officers were dispatched to the specified area, and searches for the individual are continuing, as confirmed by the police. The force also clarified that the incident has no connection to the local school. Furthermore, it was stated that neighbourhood officers would be conducting patrols to reassure the local community.
