Newcastle Falcons have secured centre Max Clark on a three-month contract. Clark previously made 93 appearances for Bath before his departure in 2022. The 29-year-old, who has also played for Welsh teams Dragons and Cardiff Blues, recently trained with Saracens, featuring for them in the Premiership Rugby Cup last month. His most recent club was Ampthill in the Championship. Clark is scheduled to be available for Newcastle’s upcoming Premiership fixture this Saturday, which is a home game against his former club, Bath. His signing is intended to provide cover for the next three months while first-choice centre Sammy Arnold recovers from a knee injury. Consultant director of rugby Steve Diamond commented on the signing, stating: “It’s a bit like a shop window for him. You come, show your wares and hopefully get a contract at the end of it. Let’s hope he goes well.” Post navigation Seamus Coleman Returns to Republic of Ireland Squad for Nations League Fixtures Statistical Insights for Hibs vs. St Mirren Matchup
